GFG 2026 Activities
In our last update, we talked about the different Tournaments attendees can take part in. From competitive headline tournaments, to casual tournaments, to even a Rock-Paper-Scissors tournament–there’s a lot for people to enjoy.
This year, we have something totally new that we’re really excited for, but we also wanted to talk about some of the other things to enjoy, do, and eat!
GFG CARDS FOR A CAUSE CHAMPIONSHIP
The AUX Gym is evolving! It’s now being transformed into a base of operations for all things TCG, and it’s where we’ll be having our first Cards for a Cause Championship!
Alongside our friends with local TCG community shop The 8th Side, GFG Cards for a Cause will feature tournaments for Magic: The Gathering on Saturday, April 11, as well as tournaments for the Pokémon Trading Card Game and the One Piece Trading Card Game on Sunday, April 12.

GFG Cards for a Cause is open to all challengers at a cost of $35 per tournament, and registration is open now on TopDeck.gg! Badged GFG attendees interested in competing will receive a $20 discount and can register in-person for any tournament at a lowered cost of $15.
In addition to the three tournaments, the AUX Gym will also host several card vendor booths for attendees looking to trade or purchase cards.
FREEPLAY AREAS & SPONSOR BOOTH
GFG will also feature various freeplay areas for your entertainment pleasure. We’ll have an arcade as well as some quick sports tables. Whether you want to bring out the *BOOM SHACKALACKA* in NBA Jam, play some pinball, or even challenge a fellow attendee to ping pong, the arcade is always a fun place to unwind.

As far as our booths go, you can expect GHOST with refreshing energy and hydration drinks to keep everyone fueled! Game Pawn is also coming back this year with their collection of retro games to sell on-site. And of course, don’t forget the Gamers Outreach booth! We’ll have a couple GO Karts and even a Save Point Machine for attendees to interact with!
FOOD TRUCKS
Michigan is a beautiful state that’s really starting to come together with its food scene, but if you want to stay where all the GFG action is, our crew is making sure we have amazing food trucks to keep you from going hungry. Smoke Ring BBQ and Simply Spanish will be back to offer some awesome goodness with even more planned.

If any Michigan locals know of an amazing food truck that would love to come to GFG, shoot us a message in our contact box, Discord, or socials! We see you foodies!
REMINDERS
We’re really excited with GFG being a month away, so we’ll leave you with a few reminders as you prepare for GFG.
Update on Apparel Items
It’s not too late to finalize your add-ons, but we’ll be closing add-ons to pick them up at GFG in person soon.

In addition to having the shirt or hoodie available to pre-order for LAN pick-up, supporters can also purchase them here before April 1 to have them shipped home. All preorders made after April 1 will have their shirts and hoodies shipped a little bit after the conclusion of the GFG 2026 LAN Party.
IHOP Breakfast Extended
We’ve extended the IHOP Breakfast add-on! Be sure to get some Sunday options from the Official Breakfast Partner of Gamers For Giving. You have until April 10 to finalize your delicious choices.
SO MUCH ROOM FOR ACTIVITIES
We hope that this blog gave you a good idea about the various activities and things there are to do at GFG! There’s only 23 days left, and we’ll be sure to update everybody with information including our sponsors, the GFG Streamathon, this year’s LAN Checklist, and more!
