GFG 2026 Headline Tournaments, Casual Tournaments, & Awards Info
What would a LAN Party be without tournaments?
At this year’s Gamers For Giving LAN Party, we’re doing some things the same and some things different, and we think you’ll love it. In this blog, we’ll be going over the different tournaments you can take part in, as well as awards you can win!
As usual, entry and participation is covered with every non-spectator GFG 2026 ticket purchase.

Headline Tournaments
The crew discussed amongst the staff, partners, past attendees, and volunteers to decide what tournaments will headline GFG. We considered everything from traditional games as well as what’s hot today, and this is what we’ve arrived on.
Counter Strike 2 (5v5) - Saturday 12PM
Rocket League (3v3) - Saturday 3PM
Halo Infinite (Free-For-All) - Saturday 7PM
After another year of exciting clashes, these three games are coming back as our Headline Tournaments, and we’re looking forward to those epic moments! All start times are subject to change, and the top finishers should expect various prizes such as cash in addition to custom trophies and medals.

Casual Tournaments
Our “Casual Tournaments” won’t have cash prizes, but the clashes for trophies and medals are just as competitive! The three tournaments from last year make a return in GFG 2026, and they’ll be joined by two more awesome games! Here they are:
League of Legends (ARAM 5v5)
StarCraft (1v1)
Fall Guys (Free-For-All)
Marvel Rivals (6v6)
Magic: The Gathering Online (Free-For-All)

Headline & Casual Tournament Registration
GFG 2026 LAN Party attendees can register for Tournaments at the Tournament Operator (T.O.) desk near the entrance starting on Friday afternoon, April 10th. Each tournament will run throughout the day once they start on Saturday and Sunday during the event.

Non-Video Game Tournaments and Awards
Gamers For Giving isn’t just about video games. Here’s what we have planned for your excitement, both competitive and creative!
Rock-Paper-Scissors (Free-For-All)
Chess (Free-For-All)
Award: Most Impressive PC
Award: Best Camper

The Rock-Paper-Scissors tournament last year was pure hype, and the intensity that comes with Chess simply cannot be understated. The Awards for Most Impressive PC and Best Camper are back too, because it’s simply a vibe seeing the creativity that goes into everybody’s stations.
The winners and awardees will each be given a GFG 26 trophy and a GFG Mystery Box (if they’re not a Premium ticketholder).

More To Come
Our next blog will cover other activities you can take part in at the LAN Party. You already know that IHOP will be doing Sunday breakfast, but what other food can you expect? All that is being finalized now and we’ll update you soon!
Spoiler Alert: Yes, the arcade is back, but there’s more to see, so stay tuned!
