We’re roughly seven weeks away from the Gamers For Giving 2025 LAN Party, and you might be wondering… what is there to do?

There will be plenty of things to do at GFG this year, as we have a slew of activities planned, and it’s not out of the ordinary for attendees to do their own thing too! As long as you love games, you’ll feel right at home at GFG.

FGC Games & Tournaments are back with Diamond Dust 2

There will be plenty of gaming tournaments at the GFG 2025 LAN Party, and in addition to the headline and casual tournaments we mentioned in the Tournament & Activities blog, we’re happy to announce Diamond Dust 2 is back this year holding tournaments for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (both singles and doubles), Street Fighter 6, Tekken 8, and Rivals of Aether II.

Diamond Dust 2 tournaments will be held at the G3 Center from April 12th to the 13th. Attendees interested in competing in those tournaments can register on start.gg to join the brackets.

Those who already bought a GFG 2025 LAN seat won’t have to pay the venue fee for Diamond Dust 2 and only need to pay the tournament entry fee for the tournament(s) they want to take part in. If you know you’re interested in throwing down at Diamond Dust 2 now, drop us a line at contact@gamersoutreach.org so we can put you on the list to bypass the entry fee! It’s easier than summoning Shiva.

Freeplay Areas & Sponsor Booth

Not interested in competitive gaming? No problem. The GFG LAN Party will also have areas designated to just casually play, including a fighting game area as well as an arcade! Whether you want to take out bad guys as the Ninja Turtles or be even more old-school with Donkey Kong, there’s something for everyone. As you can see from the photo above, we also have pinball!

We’ll have more information about sponsors and their booths a little later, but we’ve heard that our friends at GHOST are brewing up something quite refreshing, so stay tuned!

Food Trucks

Michigan is a beautiful state with more and more places to eat popping up every day, but if you wanna stay where all the GFG action is, we have some amazing food trucks to keep you from going hungry. Pick and choose or mix and match from these tasty options:

Reminders

It goes without saying that everyone involved with Gamers Outreach is excited about GFG 2025, but before we let you go, we wanted to send you off with a few reminders first.

GFG 2025 Apparel Reveal & Add-On Deadline Extended!

People have been asking about how this year’s GFG apparel will look–ask and you shall receive! Not only does this year’s shirt and hoodie feature fresh white text that really pops, but we’re embracing our love for video games with a bold design featuring face buttons and retro 8-bit-styled art.

We want more of you to have a chance at securing your exclusive and limited edition GFG apparel, so we’ve extended the merch deadline to this Friday! If you want a GFG 2025 hoodie or shirt, NOW is the time to grab them! These add-ons end on March 7.

The deadline for PC Rentals has also been extended to March 7, so avoid the FOMO and get those add-ons in!

IHOP Breakfast Add-Ons Extended

You still have a little more time to add on some options from the Official Breakfast Partner for GFG for Sunday. Options include their 2x2x2 as well as their pancake or full breakfast combos. Maybe you want lunch for breakfast? That burger or chicken sandwich combo above might be your style. You have until Tuesday, April 1 to add IHOP options to your purchase.
