2025 Tournaments & Activities Primer

We’re now less than two months away from this year's Gamers For Giving LAN Party, but what’s a LAN Party without tournaments? This year’s attendees can look forward to signing up for whichever tournaments they choose. As usual, entry is covered with every non-spectator GFG 2025 ticket purchase.

Headline Tournaments

The Gamers Outreach crew deliberated amongst the staff, partners, and past attendees to decide what tournaments will headline GFG. We considered traditional tournament options as well as today’s hottest competitive titles, and we’ve decided on the following games:

Counter-Strike 2 (5v5) - Saturday 12PM Start
Rocket League (3v3) - Saturday 3PM Start
Halo Infinite (FFA) - Saturday 7PM Start

All start times are estimated times. Winners and finalists can look forward to special custom trophies, medals, and cash prizes.

Casual Tournaments

Not looking for hardcore competition but still want to try your hand at multiplayer fun? Enter one of the following casual tourneys for more than bragging rights!

Marvel Rivals (5v5) - Saturday 1PM Start
StarCraft II (1v1) - Saturday 2PM Start
League of Legends (ARAM 5v5) - Saturday 5PM Start

Like the Headline Tournaments, all start times are estimated times. First place winners can look forward to special custom trophies and medals as prizes!

Tournament Registration

Attendees can register for tournaments at the TO (Tournament Operator) desk near the GFG LAN Party entrance starting on Friday afternoon, April 11th. Tournaments will run throughout the day on Saturday and Sunday.

Activities & Awards

The fun at GFG isn’t limited to video game tournaments! We have a slew of activities, games, and other challenges with prizes to be excited about once the events start. Here are just a few that are in the planning stages!

Geoguessr
LAN Mario Party
Rock-Paper-Scissors

As we’ve done in previous years, we’ll also be handing out special awards for the “Best Camper” and the “Most Impressive PC” we see at GFG 2025. The Best Camper Award is given to the GFG attendee with the most elaborate campsite at the event, while the Most Impressive PC Award will go to the attendees with the most awesome PC. What does that mean? You’ll just have to be there to see! Either way, both awards will be decided on by a panel of judges at GFG 2025.

Want a chance to win something cool but don’t necessarily have the skill or creativity for any of the above? We have good, old-fashioned raffles to be excited for along with prizes from our partners and esteemed sponsors.
