Over this past weekend, thousands of gamers united to help provide entertainment for hospitalized families.
At the helm of our fundraising ship: a variety of streamers from across a wide spectrum of games, backgrounds, ages, and locations.
All fueled by the generosity of their respective communities.
Together, we raised more than $1 MILLION DOLLARS!
The 2022 Grand Total was a whopping $1,031,204.36!!
This result is a NEW FUNDRAISING RECORD!

This incredible achievement wouldn’t have been possible without the enthusiasm and commitment we witnessed from the gaming community.
Over 550 streamers participated in this year’s fundraiser – inspiring more than 14,500 unique contributions. The average donation was $70, and median donation was $20.
The sense of joy, purpose, hope, and kindness we witnessed throughout the weekend was truly inspiring. Our heartfelt gratitude goes out to everyone who streamed, donated, and spread the word.
Most importantly: these resources will change people’s lives.
Each year, millions of children and their families receive medical care inside hospitals. For many, the process can be scary and isolating. During hospitalization, kids lose access to friends, school, and moments that typically define childhood.
We’re on a mission to change their experience.
Through gaming, we can provide kids with activities alongside care. We can help restore a sense of joy and normalcy. We can reinforce hospital staff whose job is to heal others.
And with the close of this year’s event, gamers have enabled a whole lot more play. We estimate these resources can provide as many as 625,000 more unique gaming experiences for hospitalized families each year.

Lastly, this year’s fundraising effort was bolstered thanks to support from some wonderful partners. More than $200,000 was contributed to this year’s total by our brand partners, creating heartfelt moments for a number of streamers and their communities. Our gratitude goes out to each for being involved.
The soul of Gamers Outreach is a passion for video games, fused with awareness of our ability to positively impact families receiving care. Our team is grateful each day to do this work, and as gamers ourselves, it ’s truly heartwarming to see so many of you embrace this cause as your own.
