This weekend, we’re trying to raise $20,000 to do more of this:

Gamers for Giving is a competitive video game tournament & LAN party that helps raise money to build portable video game carts for children in hospitals, much like the cart shown in the above video.

Additionally, funds raised from the event are used to distribute video game care packages to U.S. troops deployed overseas.

If you’re unable to attend this year’s event in person, we invite you to make a contribution, and join us during our live broadcast on http://www.twitch.tv/GamersOutreach. The stream will begin at 11:30 AM Eastern on both Saturday and Sunday.
